Discussed in planning: T401159: [SPIKE] Image Browsing: Investigate a keyword-based approach will be used to create a PoC for Approach 1 outlined above. We will return to the list of approaches here if that doesn't work. Resolving this in the meantime.

@egardner - what QA would we like for this task? Is there anywhere (patchdemo, beta cluster) we can look at it as a part of signoff

@matthiasmullie - could you do a small write up of the selected method and any final conclusions, next steps, or follow-up tickets?

@JScherer-WMF - this would allow us to pull images in articles which have less than three images (at least starting from other Wikipedias). Let's discuss what this means for the design aspect.
